I never set out to be a yogi. I set out to understand life

— and life, in return, made me one.

My path has been a long walk across countries and cultures,

temples and forests, cities and silence of the invisible.

But the real pilgrimage has always been inward.

About 'In Search of Life'

My name is Vishal. A simple village boy from Katol, India. born on 13th June 1999.

I grew up in a world wrapped in rigid traditions - where success meant status, love came with conditions, and emotions were often brushed aside like fallen leaves. A world where self-discovery was considered rebellion, and being “different” meant being alone. A world where followers are created and creators are isolated, conclusions are installed in the mind and thoughts are protested.

And eventually, I broke. Not all at once. But slowly, quietly - under the pressure of trying to be someone I was never meant to be. I sank into a darkness where I forgot who I was… or if I ever truly knew.

But somewhere, buried under that silence, something inside whispered: REBORN.
Not as someone new, but as someone real. Someone free.

So I left.
Not to escape life - but to meet it, IN SEARCH OF LIFE.

I picked up my bicycle - began riding.
No map, no plan. Just the longing to remember how it feels to be a child, to be myself as it is I am created in the universe without social, religious and ego influences.

I must say,
“I didn’t set out to be a yogi. I didn’t even know what I was looking for in terms of words — only that something inside me refused to settle.”

For over five years, I’ve journeyed through the raw, astounding, diverse, divine and contradictory face of India, the Himalayan stillness of Nepal, and the beautiful chaos of Bangladesh. I slept under open skies, someone's rooftop, garages ,bus-stands ,railway stations contently, washed in rivers, waterfalls, played flute sitting with my heart, and walked with the moon's and sun's direction. Pilgrimages, wilderness, and nameless roads and blessed by  people's kind heart hosting me in their home unconditionally became my classroom.

“The forest never spoke, but it healed. The villagers had no scriptures, but they lived them. And every cup of tea, every offered meal, was a silent sermon in love.”

I often say:

"My mother gave me my first birth. But my bicycle

gave me my second."

These were not just people. They were gods in human form.Or maybe, humans remembering their godliness.

When Strangers Became Scriptures

It is said — when you walk with sincerity, life begins to teach you.
For me, real people became my scriptures:

  • A tea seller who poured his heart in every cup

  • A poor woman who gave me all her food seeing I was hungry

  • A farmer, sweating and laughing under the sun, richer than kings

  • A shopkeeper who offered me his raincoat and a jacket when he saw me shivering with no money

  • Kind strangers who became temporary family

I saw God in human form — or maybe, humans in their godly nature.

Through them, I didn’t just learn kindness.

I remembered it.

One day, by a lake in Nepal, a yogi family noticed me — not just my dirt and hunger, but the flame inside me I’d almost forgotten. They didn’t just feed me. They adopted my soul. They reminded me who I am. That day, yoga became more than just asana.

It became awareness.

Stillness.

Breath.

Trust.

Letting go.

Now, yoga is not something I “do.” It is how I walk, eat, speak, and sit beside both joy and sorrow. I don’t claim to have mastered it — I only strive to live it.

“When you do something from the depth of your heart, the entire universe begins to move with you.”

“Yoga is not what I do, it’s what I become. It’s not a shape I make with my body, but the stillness I find in chaos.”

This blog is not a portfolio. It’s a prayer. A journal. A reflection. A place where I share what’s real — the dirt and the divinity. If even one word here makes you pause, smile, or exhale a little softer — if it reminds you that you are not alone, then everything I’ve lived is already enough.

''You don’t have to go anywhere to find home. Because home is not a place. It’s you. Just as you are."

With folded hands and a full heart,

Vishal bow down to the light in you.

What Yoga Means to Me

Yoga, to me, is a sacred dance — a quiet love story between breath and body.

It has nothing to do with how flexible or strong you are. Those things are just byproducts. Yoga is not performance; it's presence. It’s when you forget yourself — not to escape, but to merge.

When I perform an asana, I disappear into its rhythm.
When I fall into deep conversation, I dissolve into its melody.
When I offer myself into any act with full heart, I lose the “I” — and what remains is love.

To me, that is yoga.
Any act where you vanish into the now — that’s yoga and the consciousness to hear the silent chants of the life that's yoga.

Yoga is a way of living. A way of being. A way of dissolving.
its not touching the life but feeling the way life touches you.

Yoga is not religious. It is not cultural. It is existential.
It is the art of dancing with truth, with breath, with as it is.

Every smile that rises from the heart — is yoga.
Every gaze that flows from the soul — is yoga.

It is a state of conscious.
It is coming home.

Asanas prepare the body.
Pranayama expands the breath.
Meditation is the sweet surrender — where nothing remains, and everything is.

And in the silence that follows… you finally meet yourself.
That’s yoga.

From My Heart to Yours

This journey was never meant to become a “teaching.”It began as a search — and slowly, gently, it became a sharing.

People started sitting with me.

Not because I had answers, but because I was living the questions.

They’d breathe beside me… walk with me… and ask about the quiet presence I carried.

So now, I offer what overflows — not as a teacher, but as a companion on the path.

And the ways I share are simple, human, and rooted in presence:

With love,

Hridayananda Vishal

I bow down to the light in you.
